Australia v. Pakistain in UAE - Schedule

Australia cancelled the tour to Pakistan citing security concerns. Both the teams agreed to play in the neutral venue and UAE was ready to host the game.

Australia scheduled to play 5 ODIs and a T20 in the UAE in April and May 2009. Ricky Ponting has been rested while Micheal Clark given the top position of leading the team.

Asia Cup, Match 6: Sri Lanka beat UAE by 142 runs

Five wicket haul by Mendis helped Sri Lanka thrash minnows UAE by 142 runs. Earlier, Sangakkara was out for zero in the first over. Udawatte and skipper Jayawardane put on 114 for the 2nd wicket and stabilized the innings.

Asia Cup, Match 1: Bangladesh beat UAE Comfortably!

Bangladesh won their first encounter of the 2008 Asia Cup. They beat another minnows UAE comfortably by 96 runs. Bangladesh skipper Ashraful scored a wonderful century, his second and highest in ODI. He scored 109 off 126 balls with 8 fours. Raquibul Hasan who scored 83 off 63 balls with 9 fours. They added 141 for the 3rd wicket in122 balls.
