Ponting crosses10,000 Runs in Test Cricket!

Ricky Ponting, the Australian captain crossed the 10,000 run mark in test cricket. He reached 10,000 run mark during his 65 in the 2nd test. He required 61 to reach the five digit mark and he did that a two of Sarwan's delivery.

He reached this milestone in his 118th test and 197th innings. He has joined the 10,000 club with 7 other players across the world. Leading the table are:

Rahul Dravind Crosses Ten Thousand Runs in Test Cricket

Rahul Dravid crossed his ten thousand run mark in test cricket on Day 4 of the first test against South Africa in Chepauk, Chennai. He is the third Indian batsman achieve this milestone. The others are:

Sachin Tendulkar

He has achieved this in his 120th test match. Requring 80 runs at the start of this test match to reach 10,000 and he did it without any trouble.
