Symonds Story!

What happened with Symonds? What's the actual story?

During the Indian tour to Australia, Symonds and Bajji entered into a conversation with Symonds complaining on Bajji with the accusation that Bajji called him Monkey. Bajji was booked and interrogated on racism charges.

He missed the bus sleeping and couldn't attend the net practice. He was warned.

He preferred fishing than the important team meeting during the Bangladesh Tour. Team Management discussed and sent him back to Australia.

When the Cricket Australia suggested that Symonds seek the help of a psychiastrist, he did not listen to it. His committment was questioned. For which, he said:

"I have had some time to reflect on the events that took place in Darwin. I would like to say thanks for many messages of support that I have received over the past day or so. I appreciate your best wishes. I've been asked to think about what is important to me and I will take this time to do that." He in fact went one step forward and asked him to to leave alone.

Having dropped from the Test side for the Indian tour, he now has to focus on bringing his discpline back, ensuring that Cricket Austrialia believes in his commitement, and perform with bat and ball--score runs. Then he will be back to natinal team! Good luck Symonds!
