ICC 2009 T20 World Cup: Groups

ICC has annouced the teams for each group for the forthcoming T20 World Cup to be held in England this summer. Current champion India is in Group A with the runners Pakistan in Group B. The 50-over world cup champion Australia and the runner up Sri Lanka are in Group C. The tournament begins and ends in Lord's on June 5, and June 21 respectively.

The Preliminary Round Groups:

Bangladesh	England	Sri Lanka	South Africa
Ireland	Netherlands	West Indies	Scotland

Super Eight Groups:

Group E	Group F
A1, B2, C1, D2	B1, A2, C2, D1

The top two teams in each group will clash in Semi Finals and the winners will play in the final.
