Ishanth Injured, to miss 1st ODI
Ishanth's ankle injury has put him under rest for at least 5 days. He will not be playing the first ODI against England and India has to depend on RP Singh or Munaf Patel.
The tall fast bowler won the man of the series award in the Border Gavaskar Trophy played between India and Australia. Ishanth played a vital part in India winning the trophy 2-0. He captured 15 wickets of the 138 overs he bowled.
It was said that he strained too much during the test series, especially as a striking fast bowler for India.
Either Munaf Patel or RP Singh is expected to replace the gap. After a MRI Scan, Ishanth's progress and availability will be known!
