Sachin is back in the ODI squad for the next two ODI matches against England. The master batsman will be playing in ODI matches after a gap of 8 months. The last match he played was against Australia in Australia where he lead the Indian team to win the trophy.
Irfan Pathan is also back in the squad as a replacement for RP Singh. Vijay, did not play any game was shown the door as a replacement for Sachin.
With England already struggling against India and down 0-3 in the series, is expected to face more problems. Sachin is in form an is the leading run getter in both forms of cricket.
Irfan is picked on the weightage that he is an all rounder where as RP Singh cannot bat. Dhoni is backing RP Singh and said "It's a bit of a surprise," a source in the Indian team revealed. "He needs to play more matches. He is absolutely fit. He was getting better despite not playing much in the last few matches."
