Cricket Australia (CA) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced that Australia's tour to Pakistan in Mach-April 2008 has been cancelled. The new dates will be announced after the meeting with both the cricket board officials.
Now, it is up to PCB to manage the loss incurred due to the cancellation of this tour. They approached India for few one day matches, but BCCI did not accept the offer stating heavy cricket season.
The news is that both the board officials will meet during the next few weeks and decide on the new date. I think with the recent bomb blast in Lahore where one of the matches has been scheduled, the chances of Australia touring Pakistan during this season is not possible.
