Wisen, the highly popular cricket magazine, on Wednesday April 8, 2009 announced a dream Test XI.
The magazine named Virender Sehwag as "Leading Cricketer of the Year 2008" and Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain for its dream XI. This is the first time the publication is announcing such a list and Dhoni made every Indian proud by becoming the skipper.
India has the largest representation with Tendulkar, Harbhajan and Zaheer also in the list. The list also includes Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting and SA counter-part Greame Smith. Kevin Pietersen is the only England player in the list.
The selectors were Ravi Shastri, Ian Bishop and Ian Smith. The team:
