India in same league as Australia and SA: Vettori

Vettori had all the fear in the world before the start of the series. He was worried about the form of Sehwag and Gambhir. He was sure that they could turn the match as both of them are quick scorers in both forms of the game.

Though Vettori's team won the T20 series 2-0, they were outplayed in ODI and Test series. Matching his predictions, Gambhir became the top scorer of the series with two centuries. Though Sehwag did not score much in the test series, his contribution in the ODI was awesome. Sure that Kiwi bowlers had bad dreams and he became their nightmare. Sehwag scored quick century and became the India's fastest ODI century maker.

After the series, Vettori openly said that India is in the same league as South Africa and Australia.

"India obviously outplayed us in all departments--in the third test. Apart from our first day when we had them at 200 for 6, from then on it's India's game. I think you can throw Australia, South Africa and India and there is the three best teams in the world and it's hard to distinguish between the three at the moment," Vettori said.
