India beat New Zealand in the test series 1-0. But, this did not give any raise in the ICC Test Ranking for the Indians. They are still placed in the third position with Australia leading the table. South Africa is in 2nd place.
India would have moved to 118 points if they had won the rain affected 3rd test thought it would not have made any impact in the standing of the table. South Africa has 119 points while Australia has 128.
