The Indian team for the forthcoming 3-match series against Sri Lanka in India will be announced by the selection committee on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Mumbai. The Selection Committee chairman and former Indian Captain Kris Srikanth will look for the return of the pacer Zaheer Khan.
Zaheer Khan was out of the Indian team due to shoulder injury. He played in the domestic cricket recently to prove his fitness.
With Ishanth Sharma struggling for form, the Indian bowling star's return will boost the bowling attack.
Ashish Nehra is also expected a call but it's been long since he played test cricket. His last match was against Pakistan in Pakistan in 2004.
Dhoni has to prove his credibility after the loss in T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy and also the series loss against Australia in India.
It is also expected the trio of Indian cricket--Sachin, Dravid, and Laxman, to be part of the side.
India has not lost a test in the last 14 matches to Sri Lanka. They will be looking to retain this record while the tourist will try to break it!
