Ganguly Announces Retirement
The former Indian Skipper Sourav Ganguly has announced his retirement plans and also created a controversy. The most successful captain of India, said in a press conference that the Australian series will be his lost series and will hung his boots after that.

He said, he is not part of the ODI and T20 team already and is focusing on Test cricket. He has taken the decision on his own, but because of the humiliation he suffered because of the selectors.

He is the most successful captain of Indian team and had a rough patch with former coach Greg Chappel. During the Indian tour to Zimbabwe, Ganguly came out open and said that, "coach Greg Chappel is asking him to step down." This created controversy and Ganguly was dropped from the team after that.

He came back after that for the world cup and also for the Pakistan series. His innings against South Africa helped India to equal the series.
