Yes, Tendulkar became the highest run scorer in test cricket history taking over from West Indian batsman Lara. Though Sachin reached this milestone in 152nd test as against 131 by Lara, his long career and dedication to the game of cricket and nation took him to such great heights.
When he crossed his 50, that was his fiftieth test 50 in test cricket.
When he reached 62, he reached 12,000 run mark in test cricket. He is the leading run scorer in both test cricket and ODI. Good that T20 was not introduced 10-15 years ago.
Ganguly reached his 7000th run during his innings. It is not easy to reach 1000 runs in test cricket, but legends have reached it. Well done PRINCE OF KOLKATA!
