Dhoni, first 10-Million Man in Cricket: Forbes
Forbes magazine compiled the list of top earners in cricket and Dhoni over took Indian master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and achieved the first place. Dhoni also became the first cricketer to achieve 10-Million in a year through various mode of incomes.
Apart from Dhoni and Sachin, other Indian cricketers are Yuvaraj, Dravid and Ganguly.
Forbes listed top 10 cricketers in terms of their earning in a year which includes club and national team salaries, and commercial endorsements.
The list as per the earnings:
1. Dhoni - $10 Million
2. Sachin Tendulkar - $8 Million
3. Yuvaraj Singh - $5.5 Million
4. Dravid - $5 Million
5. Flintoff - $4 Million
6. Ganguly - $3.5 Million
7. Ponting - $3.5 Million
8. Brett Lee - $3 Million
9. Kevin Pietersen - $3 Million
10. Michael Clarke - $2.5 Million
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who plays for the Chennai Super Kings and tops the list as cricket's first $10 million-a-year man (that's $5,426 for each run scored).
